This Par 5 has a tree lined fairway with out of bounds on the left and the right trees protecting the 9th hole. The fairway runs right to left with longer hitters aiming towards the top of the hill to have a view of the green for their next shot.  If you go left off the tee you will risk a hard 2nd shot to clear the tree line from the roadway to get back in play.  The green slopes left to right and is one of the faster greens particularly if you have a downhill putt.
